Frequently Asked Questions

Customization of Prints

Are the sizes customizable? How big can you print?

Yes, I am always happy to accommodate specific sizes. Please note that the sizes would differ for different artwork, such as for intaglios in the folder “Printmaking”, sizes are typically smaller.

Can you crop an image?

I do not crop or otherwise alter images to maintain the consistency and integrity of the edition.

Framing

Framing Info

Images can be framed according to your specifications. Please contact me for a custom mock-up.

You purchased an unframed print. Now what?

I advise your framer to dry-mount the work on acid-free board using archival tissue and materials. This will ensure that your print will remain flat once framed. Note that it is common for prints to have waves when unrolling for the first time.

Caring for Your Unframed Print

Your print is made of archival materials that will last a lifetime, but it is still very fragile and should be taken directly to a framer. Do NOT handle your unframed print yourself. Also, prints are not meant to be stored in a tube for extended periods of time.

Pricing

How does limited edition pricing work?

As the editions sell out for each artwork and fewer pieces are available, the price goes up on that image. For more information on pricing please contact me.

Prints & Editions

About the Prints

Unframed prints have a 5–7 cm paper border.

Tell me about your limited editions…

I carefully select the number of prints offered of each image to protect your artwork’s long term identity. All limited edition prints are stamped and signed by me and include a Certificate of Authenticity (COA). The COA will be mailed together with the artwork.

What edition number will I receive when I purchase a limited edition artwork?

When a limited edition artwork is purchased, the next available edition number is automatically selected and assigned to that purchase. If you are interested in what number in the edition is next available for a specific print, please contact me.

How do you guarantee the quality and authenticity of your work?

All limited edition prints are inspected, signed, stamped, and numbered by me. Each print also comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. The Certificate of Authenticity ensures that your print is an original and should be stored somewhere safe, preferably separate from the artwork.

To protect the integrity of your original, all prints are part of a limited edition. Each image will not be duplicated beyond the amount noted on your print and on the Certificate of Authenticity.

Returns & Damage

What is your return policy?

All sales are final, non-refundable, and non-returnable. However, if you have received the wrong print in error, please contact me, so we may resolve the issue.

What if my artwork or frame is damaged when I receive it?

I take great care to ensure that all artwork purchases arrive safely. However, at times unfortunate things happen that are beyond our control and there’s a chance your order could arrive imperfect. In such cases, I require that any damage claims must be filed within 7 days of receiving your delivery, otherwise I cannot make a claim with our shipment carrier and thus cannot assume responsibility. Please open and inspect your order immediately upon receipt and if there’s an issue, carefully follow these instructions:

  1. When the shipment arrives, examine the outside of the box, and please note any visible damage when you sign for it.

  2. If damaged, take a picture of the outside of the box before you open it.

  3. Open the package and take pictures of all damage points.

  4. Send all photos and your contact information to Jurgita Gerlikaitė with the subject line “Damage – Order Nr.” Your order number can be found in our e-mail updates to you and on the packing slip which will be inside the box.
